A well regarded and design led architectural practice is seeking a talented Architect to join its Cardiff studio. With over five decades of delivering high quality and sustainable projects across the UK and internationally, the practice has built a strong reputation for producing commercially driven and user focused design solutions. The team works across architecture, urban design and masterplanning, with a portfolio spanning mixed use, retail, leisure, residential and workplace sectors.
Role And Responsibilities For The Architect
- Lead and contribute to projects across multiple RIBA stages
- Develop design proposals from concept through to technical delivery
- Produce and review detailed drawing packages and construction information
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with current UK Building Regulations
- Attend and lead project meetings, presentations and site visits
The Successful Architect Will Have
- ARB registered Architect with a recognised qualification
- Proven experience working within a UK architectural practice
- Strong design and technical skills across all project stages
- Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methods
- Proficiency in Revit, with Adobe Creative Suite skills beneficial
- Clear communication skills with a collaborative and organised approach
