Job Purpose
Key role to shape and protect the brand strategy, ensuring consistent positioning, messaging and customer experience across all touchpoints. Accountable for planning and executing integrated brand activations (including sponsorships, partnerships and events) to build awareness and engagement, while leading brand governance through clear standards, approvals and stakeholder enablement to safeguard brand integrity and quality.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end delivery of brand activations and sponsorship programmes, from briefing and project planning through to on-site execution and post-campaign evaluation.
- Develop detailed activation plans (timeline, critical path, roles \& responsibilities, run-of-show, contingency) and drive cross-functional delivery to deadline.
- Own activation budgets: build cost estimates, manage purchase requests and invoicing, track spend, and optimise ROI within agreed parameters.
- Manage agencies and suppliers (event production, creative, PR, digital, media, logistics): set deliverables and SLAs, oversee production quality, and ensure safe and compliant execution.
- Deliver sponsorship rights planning and fulfilment: manage rights grids, negotiate and coordinate deliverables with partners, and ensure brand presence meets contractual obligations.
- Coordinate asset development and deployment across channels (digital, social, CRM, onsite, print): write/own briefs, manage approvals, and ensure accurate localisation and version control.
- Lead day-to-day stakeholder management with Marketing, Digital, Data \& Analytics, Operations and frontline teams to ensure activation readiness, staffing and customer experience delivery.
- Implement brand governance on activations and sponsorship outputs: apply brand guidelines, run brand checks, manage the approvals workflow, and address non-compliance with clear actions.
- Set and track activation KPIs (reach, engagement, leads, conversion, sentiment where applicable); produce performance reports and actionable recommendations for optimisation.
- Supports ad hoc projects alongside the Head of Brand and the Director of Corporate Affairs, Brand and Sustainability
- Ensure operational risk, privacy and regulatory considerations are addressed in planning and delivery (e.g., customer data capture, on-site claims, safety, permits), escalating issues promptly.
Requirements
- 10\+ years' experience in brand management, brand activation, sponsorship and integrated marketing, with a strong track record of end-to-end programme delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience managing agencies and suppliers (creative, event production, PR, digital, media) including scoping, briefing, quality control and performance management.
- Proven project management capability: building integrated plans, managing timelines and dependencies, and driving stakeholders to deliver on time and on brand.
- Experience in sponsorship planning and fulfilment (rights grids, partner coordination, asset delivery) and event/activation execution across online and offline channels.
- Sound commercial and budget management skills, including forecasting, procurement coordination and ROI optimisation.
- Hands-on experience applying brand guidelines and governance (brand checks, approvals workflow, asset version control) to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Data-informed marketer with experience defining KPIs and evaluating activation effectiveness using performance reporting and insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence across levels and functions and manage senior expectations.
- Comfortable working in a regulated environment; strong attention to detail and risk awareness (e.g., customer data capture, claims substantiation, approvals). Coaching/mentoring experience is an advantage.
