Position Overview

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides direct support and supervision to clients residing in a behavioral health residential setting. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and structured environment while assisting clients with daily activities, recovery goals, and treatment participation.

No prior behavioral health experience is required. We are willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.

Essential Duties \& Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor clients throughout the shift
• Facilitate and assist with therapeutic groups and activities
• Complete daily documentation, including counseling notes and client observations
• Observe, document, and report client behaviors, concerns, and progress
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment
• Provide emotional support and assist with de-escalation when needed
• Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff
• Assist with medication monitoring and documentation as assigned
• Complete required logs, reports, and administrative tasks
• Transport clients to approved appointments and activities using a company vehicle
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies

• Comfortable using computers, tablets, and electronic documentation systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in behavioral health, healthcare, social services, or residential treatment is preferred but not required

Pay: $15\.50 - $16\.50 per hour
