Job Summary:

· Prepare and process biological samples, reagents, buffers, solutions, test articles, and culture media to support service and research activities.

· Perform primary cell culture activities, including routine maintenance, feeding, and media changes.

· Support surgical tissue collection and processing procedures involving human tissues.

· Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot standard laboratory equipment, including pH meters, analytical balances, osmometers, and hot plate/stirrers.

· Maintain laboratory inventories by monitoring supplies, ordering materials, and restocking consumables.

· Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist in the development and revision of laboratory procedures as needed.

· Maintain accurate laboratory records and document experimental activities.

· Perform routine laboratory housekeeping, including glassware cleaning, non-hazardous waste disposal, and occasional biohazard waste handling.

· Work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to support project goals.

· Review scientific literature as needed to support laboratory activities and ongoing projects.

· Assist with drug testing studies evaluating the effects of compounds on human cells and tissues.

· Analyze experimental data and contribute to technical reports and study documentation.

· Support internal drug discovery and client-sponsored research programs.

· Gain opportunities to contribute to the development of new assays, methods, and products as skills and experience grow.

Education \& Experience

· B.S. degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field required

· Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience in an academic or industry setting

· Hands-on cell culture experience strongly preferred
