Position Summary

The

Brand Manager

develops and supports key business initiatives to bring the brand purpose and strategy to life and contribute to the achievement of Pharmavite' s annual and long-term sales, market share and profit goals. This role will manage one or more core business segments ensuring the brand and offerings are relevant to our target consumers. Areas of focus include assortment optimization, pricing, new product commercialization, and market analysis (consumer, customer, competitor, collaborators, and climate).

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Communicating department goals and objectives and cascading them to others, ensuring workload is distributed appropriately to achieve goals and objectives.

  • Coaching and developing others to reach business and career goals.

Drive business performance by:

  • Shaping strategy to drive increased growth and profitability for segments led.
  • Executing the marketing strategies and tactics outlined in the Annual Operating Plan with optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Leading the business analysis for segment(s) of responsibility, demonstrating strong command of key growth and share drivers including pricing/counts, packaging, claims, competition, consumer profile, consumption, profitability, etc., with a bias for driving action to optimize results.
  • Actively managing a segment portfolio utilizing Circana data as well as other quantitative/qualitative data, and reporting key findings along with developing recommendations and action plans to ensure the brand has a relevant, optimized assortment.
  • Leading commercialization and renovation efforts within segment(s) of responsibility.
  • Partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Regulatory/Legal, Analytics \& Insights, Consumer Engagement, etc., to accomplish goals.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate for this role will be a strategic thinker with a bias for action who can effectively leverage data and insights to drive business performance. They must enjoy building collaborative, cross-functional partnerships that lead to the development of thoughtful, strategic narratives they can communicate to all levels of the organization. This person should be a skilled people leader, able to develop and encourage talent. This role requires a blend of creative, analytical, and intuitive skills, and an ability to influence and lead cross functional teams.

CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS

  • Comprehensive knowledge of brand management, including competitive benchmarking, market research, product commercialization, forecasting and pricing.
  • Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and distill down to key implications and recommended actions.
  • Ability to collaborate and actively engage with cross functional partners to deliver cohesive strategies and execute in the best interests of the business.
  • Ability to manage, lead and develop people.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong and effective interpersonal skills.

Required Skills \& Capabilities

To take on these challenges, you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s (MBA) preferred
  • 4\+ years marketing management experience, preferably in a CPG environment
  • Prior experience as a people manager preferred
  • Knowledge and experience working across trade channels (Grocery, Drug, Mass, E-Commerce). Experience with Amazon and other digital-native channels is strongly preferred.
  • Strong brand strategy capabilities, including portfolio development and building equity
  • Proven ability to collaborate and lead in a matrixed organization
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in driving the P\&L and delivering results based on syndicated data (Circana experience preferred) and consumer insights
  • General management mindset with experience managing brand financials, forecasts, and budgets
  • Fluency in brand, commercial, and campaign performance metrics (e.g., household penetration, velocity, share, ROAS)

SALARY RANGE

National Target Base Pay Range: $117,000\.00 - $195,000\.00

. The salary range for this position is based on national standards.

For candidates in California and New York metro the Target Base Pay Range is $130,000 - $216,000

, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas.

Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws.

Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits.
