Business Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team at Cartol. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, helping define requirements, improve processes, and ensure successful product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams
• Create user stories, workflows, process diagrams, and business documentation
• Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement
• Support product development through the full lifecycle (planning to release)
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions
• Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validate deliverables
• Monitor product performance and recommend improvements

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience with requirement gathering and documentation tools
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Proficiency in tools like Excel, Jira, Confluence, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis or basic SQL knowledge
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, or technical workflows
• Experience with wireframing or prototyping tools (e.g., Figma)
• Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent is a plus
