Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Review Member or prospect data with CoVest contract pricing to determine savings potential on new business opportunities.
• Preparation of Excel-based analysis for new opportunities.
• Prepare and present analysis findings using presentation tools (PowerPoint, Adobe, Teams).
• Cleanse large sets of data to ensure integrity.
• Provide quarterly savings and compliance reports as well as ad-hoc Member reporting.
• Audit contracts and manage pricing to abide by agreed upon terms.
• Assist Members with additional cost savings opportunities by suggesting alternative programs, SKU rationalization, and supplier consolidation.
• Support new program implementation activities.
• Assist in maintaining Power BI dashboards.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Analytics or related field
• 1\+ years in business with data analytics experience
• Any industry is relevant, preferably Distribution, Manufacturing, Professional Services, or Supply Chain Consulting industry experience.
• Experience in the packaging industry not a must but a strong bonus
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with analytics and automation software, programing languages, and AI Agent experience a plus but not a requirement
• General competence with Microsoft products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI
• Ability to work independently, history of working independently a large plus.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects with differing deadlines simultaneously.

Location

This role is based at our Cleveland, OH headquarters. To ensure a seamless onboarding experience, the first three months require daily onsite attendance for comprehensive training. Following this initial period, typically between three to six months, you will be eligible to transition to a hybrid work model, requiring two to three days in the Cleveland office per week.

Reporting Relationship

The position will report to the Category Director.
