Position Overview

As a Senior Business Analyst in Data Analytics and Reporting, you'll sit at the intersection of IT, procurement operations, and enterprise data, owning the development, governance, and continuous improvement of dashboards and reporting solutions that drive strategic decision-making across IT and indirect spend categories. This is a heavily technical, hands-on role where Power BI mastery, DAX proficiency, and SQL expertise are used daily to surface cost and spend insights, maintain data integrity, and equip both corporate and field stakeholders with the visibility they need.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, refresh, and govern Power BI dashboards functioning as a super user, to equip corporate and field employees with actionable spend and procurement data; set up and maintain live data feeds from source databases to Power BI
• Write and construct complex SQL queries against large-scale databases including Snowflake and Denodo to extract, audit, cleanse, and analyze procurement data across IT and indirect spend categories
• Standardize and audit procurement system data; develop and maintain governance processes to ensure data cleanliness, integrity, and consistency across reporting environments
• Partner with IT architecture and development teams on API connections, Snowflake database management, and Denodo data virtualization to ensure alignment of middleware solutions across business domains
• Own report requirements development including technical specifications, data mapping, and rationalization and prioritization in partnership with business stakeholders; define and document reporting metrics and calculation logic from source system data
• Translate complex data and entity relationship diagrams into executive briefings, logical architecture documents, technical flow diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes for leadership and development teams
• Troubleshoot and refine telematics-related dashboards and projects supporting business operations
• Use agile tools such as Rally or similar platforms to create scorecards, track performance metrics, and communicate goals and performance-to-date across procurement operations
• Develop dashboard and reporting training content; manage rollout of new or adjusted reporting processes to field and corporate users
• Analyze performance trends, forecast impacts, and provide recommendations on business process improvements based on data insights

Qualifications

• 5\+ years of experience in a business or technical analysis role with a strong focus on data analytics and reporting
• Advanced Power BI expertise including DAX, data modeling, visualization best practices, and super-user level functionality; this is a must
• Strong SQL proficiency with demonstrated ability to query and analyze large-scale data warehouses and complex schemas
• Experience with data extraction and analysis using Advanced Excel including Macros, Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, and advanced math functions, and/or SAS
• Familiarity with workflow modeling, data modeling, and process engineering
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools, with 3\+ years preferred, and proficiency with Rally or similar platforms
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and SharePoint
• Experience with Oracle and/or Fusion Analytics a plus
• Denodo and Snowflake experience preferred but not required
