Job Description

Job Summary

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, analysing and formalising user’s business requirements and processes, evaluating feasibility of implementation and managing scope of project

Responsibilities \| CORE

• Conduct business requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders. Generate a Requirement Specification document. Engage client to review the specification and sign off.
• Must have experience in Scrum and agile methodology and able to write Scrum User Stories and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
• Must be AI literate and able to get things done faster using AI Assisted tooling (eg Chatgpt etc)
• Perform gap analysis of current business processes to identify AI-driven improvement opportunities.
• Gather, analyse and formalise business requirements and business processes.
• Assess feasibility of implementation and manage project scope.
• Work with UI/UX designers to translate business requirements into solution designs.
• Prepare project documentation, including:

+ Requirement Specifications

+ Use Case Specifications

+ Other relevant project artefacts

• Update the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) and record out-of-scope items.
• Develop technical design specifications and translate them into process/program specifications.
• Participate in design review sessions.
• Develop acceptance criteria and/or test specifications for business user review and sign-off.
• Support integration testing, system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and implementation activities.
• Prepare user manuals and operations manuals.
• Plan and facilitate training for users and operators.
• Provide post-implementation support, including production support and service requests.
• Escalate and discuss critical issues, such as scope creep, with relevant managers.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• Typically 3\+ years of IT working experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent IT-related qualification.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Experience in IT business analysis techniques.
• Ability to produce specifications for documentation and implementation.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Able to travel as required.
