Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop comprehensive data models, dashboards, and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key metrics and trends.
- Utilize Agile project management methodologies to support iterative development cycles, ensuring timely delivery of solutions that meet stakeholder needs.
- Design and optimize databases with expertise in database design principles, working with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other relational database systems.
- Conduct data analysis using SQL, R, Python, and ETL tools like Talend and Bash scripting to extract insights from complex datasets.
- Support the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and post-implementation review.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units through documentation in Visio and other collaboration tools.
- Implement looker data models and linked data strategies to enhance data connectivity across platforms.
- Assist in project management activities by tracking progress, managing timelines, and coordinating resources effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within a data-driven environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying databases; familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience supporting projects through all SDLC phases.
- Skilled in data analysis techniques using R, Python, VBA, or similar programming languages.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools like Talend or Bash scripting for data integration tasks.
- Understanding of database design principles and linked data concepts for effective data architecture.
- Experience working with project management frameworks to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
