Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Business Analyst for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be for four months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary:**

The main function of a business operations specialist is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level but below a management level. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics, and budget. The business operations specialist usually reports to a project manager or director.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilitie

s:

• Review and approve contracts, cost proposals, and contract supplements.
• Approve project and work breakdown structures.
• Review and approve the documentation of business processes.
• Approve project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls, and costs against budgets.
• Predict potential budget overruns and offer solutions.
• Consult with corporate offices, project managers, auditors, clients, and sub-consultant representatives regarding future proposals.
• Prepare sub-agreements and review and input sub-consultant invoices to ensure contract compliance.
• Purpose of the Team: This team leads worldwide security sales strategy and drives sales performance analysis across internal sellers and partner sales motions, using data insights to support cloud security sales excellence.
• Key Projects: This role will contribute to sales performance analysis, Power BI dashboard development, cloud security sales data insights, and customer renewal projects that require data analysis and dashboard creation.
• The ideal candidate will have strong technical mastery in Power BI, Excel, SQL/data cube development, and meaningful experience in cloud product sales performance tracking.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or a relevant field is required.
• 10 years of experience is required.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience with Power BI (dashboard development and data analysis).
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience with Excel and data cube development.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience with data mining and summarizing data in meaningful ways.

Preferred:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.
• Expert knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Expert ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
• Expert ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience is a plus.
