- This role will focus on conducting research and analysis of the Philippine fintech ecosystem, including digital wallets, banking, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), lending, and related sectors.
- Responsible for gathering, synthesizing, and presenting actionable insights on market trends, competitive landscapes, regulatory developments, and emerging opportunities in the fintech industry to inform strategic decision-making.
- Conducts user research to understand customer needs, behaviors, and pain points in the fintech space, using qualitative and quantitative methods to inform product and strategy development.
- Supports strategic project management by assisting in the planning, execution, and monitoring of high-impact projects.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to collect data, validate assumptions, and develop business cases or strategic recommendations.
- Prepares high-quality reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Engages with the management team to discuss research findings, strategic insights, and project progress.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned by the reporting manager to support the organization’s strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 4-year course, with graduation expected between January 2025 and December 2025\.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and synthesize large amounts of information.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of the financial services or fintech industry (e.g., digital payments, banking, lending) is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders, including senior management.
- Proficiency in Google Docs or Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is an advantage.
- A strong desire to learn, adapt, and contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with ambition to grow into a strategic leader.
