Business Consultant – PeopleLoop
About the Role
This is an opportunity to join PeopleLoop, an AI‑first Global Workforce Platform, as part of a relationship‑first sales team focused on helping small businesses and high‑growth startups make confident decisions about their workforce. As a Business Consultant, you’ll own end‑to‑end sales conversations and partner directly with CEOs and founders as a trusted advisor on global workforce strategy, benefits, and HR infrastructure.
You’ll play a critical role in a fast‑growing organization with exciting expansion ahead, representing a differentiated platform designed for how modern companies scale globally. This role is ideal for experienced sellers who thrive in consultative environments, enjoy executive‑level conversations, and want meaningful ownership in building long‑term client relationships.

What You Get to Do
- Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through close and onboarding—serving as a strategic partner throughout the process.
- Build trusted, long‑term relationships with CEOs and founders in the SMB and startup ecosystem, guiding high‑impact workforce decisions.
- Lead consultative sales conversations that address benefits, PEO, payroll, compliance, and global employment models.
- Position PeopleLoop’s AI‑first Global Workforce Platform as a modern alternative to fragmented HR, benefits, and employment solutions.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders to support client success and deliver a seamless client experience.
- Translate complex workforce challenges into clear, business‑driven solutions tailored to each client’s growth stage.
- Contribute to the momentum of a fast‑scaling organization, with the opportunity to grow alongside the business as it expands.
What You Bring
- 7\+ years of sales experience with a strong record of success in consultative, relationship‑driven environments.
- 3\+ years of experience selling Benefits, PEO, Insurance, or HealthTech solutions, ideally into the SMB and Mid Market market.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or equivalent) minimum required.
- Demonstrated success selling to executive‑level decision‑makers, including CEOs and founders.
- The ability to communicate complex solutions with clarity, credibility, and polish.
- A relationship‑oriented sales approach built on trust, curiosity, and long‑term partnership.
- Comfort operating in evolving environments and excitement about joining a company in a high‑growth phase.
- Strong ownership mindset, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach to problem‑solving.
- Bonus (not required): Active insurance broker license.
