Our client is top tier Quant Trading Fund based in NYC currently seeking a Lead/Director Technology Recruiter for highly successful premier Quant Trading fund.

Ideal candidate must bring a proven track record of successfully owning the technical talent/recruiting process, with a keen eye for sourcing and securing hard to find Technologist /Quants/Engineers and Trading professionals for a data driven (AI and Machine Learning experience strongly preferred) Quant Trading platform

Responsibiliti

  • Source and interview candidates for assigned searches (Quantitative Researchers, Machine Learning Engineers, Software Engineers, Traders, and Business Operations
  • Lead recruitment efforts for "hard to fill" roles in quantitative finance, equity trading, and AI/technologists
  • Deep understanding of sourcing tools, technologies, and best practices.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for technical talent acquisition, advising executive leadership on recruitment strategies, workforce planning, and talent pipeline development.
  • Develop a talent acquisition strategy to attract, select, and close top talent
  • Partnered with head of business to define role requirements and create compelling job descriptions
  • Oversee all aspects of employee on-boarding process from background checks to orientation, including preparation of new hire packages and documents in preparation for on-boarding process.
  • Implement changes that enable Technology to drive key growth initiatives
  • Proven experience leading global sourcing and/or executive recruiting functions in a complex, matrixed organization
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to attract and engage prospects with a focus on strategic recruit

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; a minimum 9\+ years related human resources professional experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in talent acquisition or sourcing preferred including executive search.
  • Familiarity with executive search, full cycle recruitment, internal mobility, and workforce planning.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to listen effectively.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthus
  • Proven track record in technical talent acquisition
  • Expertise in sourcing hard-to-find candidates
  • Strong understanding of quantitative finance and AI techn
