Job Description

Sellify AI · Logan, UT (in-person) · Frequent travel · Full-Time

Base $50,000–$60,000 · OTE $80,000–$95,000

About Sellify AI

Sellify AI is the revenue platform pest control didn't have until we built it. We help pest control companies grow revenue, reduce customer churn, and streamline operations. The team came up through the industry: door-to-door rookie records, building and selling pest control businesses, and now building the AI platform operators wish they'd had ten years ago.

We're growing aggressively, with strong traction across pest control operators nationwide. The next BDR is the person who opens the doors that turn into the closed deals.

The role

BDRs at Sellify AI live at the front of the funnel. You will book qualified meetings for our Account Executives through cold outreach — but unlike most BDR jobs, the center of gravity isn't your desk.

You will travel to industry conferences and in-person prospect meetings 1–2 times per month

(occasionally three during peak season). You'll work the booth at PestWorld, Ignite, and regional shows, and travel to pre-arranged on-site visits with prospects and clients. Between trips, you're in the Logan office daily, working the phones, refining outreach, and prepping for the next event.

You're on a clear path to Account Executive in 12–18 months if you perform.

What you'll do

  • Prospect pest control operators through outbound channels — phone, email, LinkedIn
  • Travel 1–2 times per month to industry conferences and trade shows — work the booth, run hallway conversations, book on-site meetings
  • Travel to in-person prospect and client visits when the deal calls for it
  • Research accounts deeply before reaching out — operator size, route count, current software stack, growth markers
  • Book Qualified First Meetings for AEs and warm-hand them off
  • Maintain pipeline discipline daily — accurate notes, tight next steps, no stalled accounts
  • Partner with AEs and CSMs to refine targeting, messaging, and ICP fit
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly meeting-set quotas and activity targets

Must-haves

  • 1–3 years of outbound sales or BDR experience — SaaS preferred
  • Track record of hitting or exceeding activity and meeting-set targets, with real numbers you can name
  • Pest control industry experience OR strong familiarity with adjacent service industries (lawn care, alarms, HVAC, plumbing). Door-to-door sales background is welcomed
  • Comfortable with cold outreach at volume — phone, email, LinkedIn
  • You actually want to travel.

This role is wrong for someone who needs to be home every night. It's right for someone who enjoys airports, hotel lobbies, and working a conference floor

  • Willing and able to be in our Logan office every day you're not traveling
  • Coachable in real time — you apply feedback to the next call, not next quarter

Strong pluses

  • Pest control industry background (operations, sales, or software)
  • Familiarity with PestPac, FieldRoutes, or other pest-control-specific software
  • Prior conference or trade show selling experience
  • CRM proficiency

Our values

Every person we hire is evaluated against these seven values. They are how we make decisions, how we hire, and how we grow.

Extreme Ownership

Own the outcome, not the task. If something breaks, you fix it. No excuses.

Solutions, Not Problems

Come to the table with answers. Identify the issue, propose options, recommend a path.

AI-First Innovation

We lead with AI in how we build and how we work.

Relentless Initiative

See the gap, fill it. Go-getters thrive here.

Hard Work, Smart Work

Outwork the room, but prioritize ruthlessly. Effort without direction is wasted.

Speed \& Candor

Move fast. Communicate directly. Say the hard thing. Disagree openly, then commit fully.

Win Together

Lift teammates. Share intel. Optimize for team wins — not just personal stats.
