Business Intelligence Analyst

As part of our growing data and digital transformation journey, we are looking for a commercially minded Business Intelligence Analyst to strengthen our reporting capabilities, improve business visibility, and support data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Business Intelligence \& Dashboard Development

• Partner with commercial, finance, and operational teams to understand business requirements and reporting needs.
• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
• Develop new dashboards to support evolving business priorities and performance tracking.
• Improve data visibility across key business areas including sales, margins, inventory, receivables, and operational performance.
• Continuously enhance dashboards based on user feedback and business requirements.

Business Analysis \& Insights

• Analyse business performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support management reporting through ad-hoc analysis and business performance reviews.
• Present actionable insights to support commercial and operational decision-making.

Automation \& Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency.
• Streamline manual reporting workflows through automation and AI-assisted solutions.
• Support process improvement initiatives by improving reporting structures and workflows.

Data Foundation \& Cross-functional Collaboration

• Support improvements in data quality, consistency, and reporting discipline across business functions.
• Identify gaps in data capture and reporting processes and recommend practical improvements.
• Work with internal and external technical partners, including data engineers and system vendors, to support reporting requirements and data integration needs.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure effective delivery of reporting solutions.

AI-enabled Productivity

• Explore and apply AI tools to improve dashboard development, reporting automation, and workflow efficiency.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development and problem-solving.
• Stay updated on emerging AI and analytics tools to improve productivity and capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, reporting, or analytics roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (including dashboard development, DAX, and data modelling).
• Experience working closely with commercial or operational teams to support business decision-making.
• Strong understanding of business processes, KPI tracking, and performance reporting.
• Comfortable using AI tools and AI-assisted coding to improve reporting and automation workflows.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to continuously learn.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, distribution, or inventory-driven businesses is an advantage.
• Exposure to automation tools such as Microsoft Power Automate or Python is a plus.
• Basic understanding of APIs, system integrations, or data structures is advantageous.
