Job Description

Standard Practice AI is using voice AI to power a new layer of critical healthcare infrastructure.

We automate complex outbound phone calls for healthcare organizations. Our AI voice agents dial, wait on hold, navigate IVR menus, and fully complete calls to payors, providers, and patients. By automating access to offline / siloed data, we allow customers to focus on higher value tasks and generate more revenue, faster.

We've raised $10 million from Tiger Global, Wing Venture Capital, A* Capital, and Expa, and are growing fast!

Our office is located in Flatiron, New York City.

The Role

We’re looking for a highly analytical and technically-minded operator to help monitor, improve, and scale the performance of our voice AI platform.

You’ll sit at the center of our operations stack - analyzing call outcomes, identifying workflow failures, debugging operational issues, and building systems that improve AI performance at scale.

This role is part analytics, part systems operations, and part product feedback loop. You’ll work directly with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to ensure customers consistently achieve strong operational outcomes.

This is a highly hands-on role as one of the founding members of our Operations team.

Responsibilities

  • Own customer and platform performance monitoring across thousands of AI-driven phone calls, surfacing insights that inform customer health, risk, and operational improvements
  • Translate raw operational data into actionable recommendations for internal teams and customers
  • Build and improve tooling, dashboards, QA workflows, and escalation systems
  • Partner with Engineering and Product to improve platform reliability, workflow coverage, and automation quality
  • Help launch, test, and validate new workflows, call types, and customer implementations
  • Investigate issues across IVRs, payer workflows, data quality, and call logic to drive root-cause resolution

We’re looking for

  • 0–3 years of experience in operations, analytics, consulting, data science, engineering, or a similarly analytical field
  • Strong analytical mindset - you’re comfortable working with data and using it to drive decisions
  • Ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured approaches
  • High ownership and bias toward action
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot patterns or inconsistencies
  • Clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Willingness to work in-person in NYC (4 days/week)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with SQL, spreadsheets, or data visualization tools
  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to healthcare, revenue cycle, or automation tools

Compensation

  • $70K - $90K and equity ownership

Benefits

  • Excellent medical, dental, and vision plans
  • 401k and commuter benefits
  • Unlimited vacation
  • Budget for the technology tools you need
  • Education stipend
