Business Process Consultant

Role Overview

This role leads organizational readiness and changes adoption for the Florida PALM implementation, impacting finance, accounting, payroll, and enterprise reporting functions. The Business Process Consultant will design and execute change strategies, ensuring 100% stakeholder alignment, timely readiness deliverables, and successful system adoption across impacted business units.

Key Responsibilities

Change Management \& Adoption (40%)

• Develop and execute a structured change management strategy covering stakeholder analysis, communications, and training
• Deliver communication plans reaching 100% of impacted users across divisions
• Design and deploy end-user training programs supporting system adoption
• Monitor adoption metrics and post-implementation performance
• Identify resistance points and implement mitigation strategies
• Maintain stakeholder engagement across business and technical teams

Florida PALM Readiness Execution (25%)

• Support readiness activities tied to financial, accounting, payroll, and reporting transformation
• Execute readiness plans aligned to Florida PALM milestones and deadlines
• Prepare business units for transition through structured assessments and action plans
• Ensure completion of readiness deliverables within defined timelines

Program Coordination \& Stakeholder Alignment (15%)

• Participate in agency readiness workshops and planning sessions
• Communicate project updates, risks, and deadlines to division stakeholders
• Coordinate with Stakeholder Engagement, Training, and Readiness teams
• Align SMEs, business owners, and leadership on deliverables and expectations

Readiness Activities \& Deliverables (10%)

• Complete and maintain Readiness Workbook (RW) with 100% accuracy
• Train end users and business system owners on new processes
• Update policies, procedures, and operational documentation
• Execute data cleansing and validation activities across systems
• Track and communicate deliverables, timelines, and dependencies

Process Monitoring \& Continuous Improvement (5%)

• Monitor enterprise process changes and remediation progress
• Track system and process readiness across divisions
• Identify gaps and implement corrective actions
• Support continuous improvement initiatives during transition

Culture \& Change Enablement (5%)

• Promote adoption of new systems and processes across 3\+ stakeholder groups
• Reinforce accountability, collaboration, and change readiness
• Support leadership in driving organizational transformation

Scope of Work

• Deliver readiness support for Florida PALM implementation across CLIENT operations
• Execute activities strictly aligned to readiness, transition, and adoption milestones
• Support financial system transformation impacting enterprise-wide users

Required Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
• OR
• Equivalent combination of education and 7\+ years of relevant experience

Required Experience

• 7\+ years of IT experience across enterprise environments
• 4\+ years of business process engineering or transformation
• 2\+ years of project management experience supporting cross-functional initiatives
