C\+\+ Engineers (Mid \& Senior) – Crypto HFT – Remote OR Dubai

I’m working with a proprietary trading firm in Dubai that runs high-frequency strategies across the major crypto exchanges. They’re a small team of engineers and traders, so every engineer has a direct effect on PnL. They’re now hiring C\+\+ engineers at mid and senior level.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing, building and optimising low-latency trading systems in modern C\+\+
• Building and maintaining connections to crypto exchanges (market data feeds and order entry over WebSocket, REST and FIX)
• Working with quants and traders to put strategies into production and make them faster
• Profiling and tuning code for latency and throughput: cache behaviour, memory layout, lock-free design, networking
• Owning your systems from design through to production support, with a short path from idea to live trading

What they’re looking for

• Strong modern C\+\+ (17/20) skills and a solid grasp of performance
• Linux, multithreading, networking and systems programming
• Mid-level:

around 3\+ years in commercial C\+\+ development

• Senior:

around 5\+ years, with a record of designing and owning performance-critical systems

• Experience in HFT, market making, exchange connectivity is required.
• Crypto knowledge is helpful but not essential
• A pragmatic, ownership-driven attitude and comfort in a small, fast-moving team
