Job Description
Our client a leading quantitative trading firm that is continuing to invest heavily in its engineering organization, specifically across its low-latency trading infrastructure.
This team is focused on building and optimizing the core systems that power real-time trading across global markets, with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and reliability. Engineers work closely with traders and researchers to develop highly efficient, fault-tolerant systems that operate at significant scale, where even small improvements in latency or throughput can have meaningful impact.
What you’ll do:
- Design and optimize low-latency infrastructure for market data and order execution
- Build fault-tolerant, real-time systems operating at scale
- Profile and improve performance across latency-critical code paths
- Work closely with traders and researchers on production systems
Looking for:
- Strong experience with modern C\+\+ in performance-sensitive environments
- Solid systems fundamentals (Linux, networking, CPU/memory)
- Experience with low-latency or distributed systems is a plus
- High ownership and strong problem-solving ability
