Job Description
The Training Specialist designs, delivers, and continuously improves the training programs that prepare Outlook Group employees to work safely, meet quality standards, and perform at their best. Partnering closely with Operations, Human Resources, Safety, and Quality, this role owns new-hire orientation, on-the-job and compliance training, and the training records that support audits, while identifying skill gaps and measuring program effectiveness to drive safe, efficient production.
Responsibilities
- Build, coordinate and deliver new employee orientation for new hires joining the team.
- Partner with Operation Leaders and machine operators to develop training processes/matrices to uphold compliance with procedures and work instructions.
- Facilitate the delivery of annual compliance and refresher training programs.
- Maintain training records and documentation required for audits and inspections.
- Manage training materials to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Serve as owner of the learning management system (LMS), responsible for building, assigning, and administering trainings as needed, and for maintaining accurate course content, user records, and completion tracking.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Organizational Development, or other related field, preferred.
- Operational experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience implementing safety and environmental health trainings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Other Qualifications
- Foundational understanding of technical concepts and willingness to contribute to the creation and delivery of training content.

- 100% onsite in a manufacturing environment
