Job Description
The Program Manager is responsible for leading complex, multi-disciplinary programs, including new product development initiatives and strategic business projects. This role requires strong cross-functional leadership to align engineering, product management, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver programs on time, within scope, and within budget.
Responsibilities
Program Leadership \& Execution
- Lead end-to-end program execution across multiple engineering and functional teams
- Define program scope, objectives, milestones, and success criteria
- Develop and manage integrated program plans, schedules, and deliverables
- Drive execution through structured processes (e.g., phase-gate, KDPD, or equivalent)
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Align stakeholders across Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance
- Facilitate regular program reviews and decision-making forums
- Resolve cross-functional conflicts and drive alignment on priorities
Technical \& Product Oversight
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure technical deliverables meet requirements and performance targets
- Track technical risks, dependencies, and knowledge gaps
- Support product definition, validation, and readiness for production
Financial \& Resource Management
- Own program-level budget, resource planning, and cost tracking
- Evaluate trade-offs between scope, timeline, and cost
- Ensure efficient utilization of engineering and operational resources
Risk \& Issue Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks
- Drive issue resolution and escalation when necessary
- Maintain clear visibility of program health (KPIs, dashboards, status reporting)
Stakeholder Communication
- Provide clear, concise program status updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Prepare executive-level summaries and decision materials
- Support customer-facing communication when needed
