Job Description

Senior Director, New Product Planning

Massachusetts (Hybrid) Full-time

About Us

Damora Therapeutics is an innovative biotechnology company that aims to fundamentally redefine care for people with hematologic disorders. We are advancing a new generation of biologics to treat mutant calreticulin-driven myeloproliferative neoplasms, including essential thrombocythemia and myelofibrosis, where there is significant medical need for new disease-modifying treatments. With multiple programs with best-in-class potential on track to enter clinical development in 2026, our goal is to rapidly bring forward optimized treatments with broad mutation coverage and exceptional convenience to dramatically improve patient outcomes.

This is a unique opportunity to join a science-driven company at a formative stage, where early clinical data will directly shape development strategy and drive long-term value. The right candidate will join a team with significant early- and late-stage development experience, with the goal of quickly moving through dose escalation/expansion into pivotal trials.

The Role

We are seeking a strategic and commercially minded

Director, New Product Planning

leader to shape the future of our clinical-stage pipeline and long-term portfolio growth. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this individual will act as the commercial subject matter expert for assigned programs, advising senior leadership, guiding development and market entry strategies through deep market understanding, robust analytics, and forward-looking insights, and leading competitive intelligence efforts across Damora’s MPN portfolio. The ideal candidate will have directly led and/or contributed to execution of in-market commercialization efforts of biopharmaceutical product(s).

What You'll Do

  • Drive commercial planning and insights across pipeline assets by leading market research, forecasting, competitive intelligence, business intelligence, and advanced analytics.
  • Provide commercial perspective to program teams, ensuring customer needs, market realities, and competitive dynamics are embedded in TPPs, development plans, and lifecycle strategies.
  • Lead comprehensive assessments for new indications and business development opportunities, including evaluation of treatment paradigms, unmet needs, competitive landscapes, product positioning, and value propositions—translating insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Develop detailed product revenue forecasts using robust methodologies and scenario modeling, assessing market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and patient populations.
  • Develop early global pricing and market access strategies to inform TPPs, ensuring clinical trial endpoints support future payer value propositions.
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to the executive team and cross-functional leaders, helping frame and answer critical business questions with clarity and confidence.
  • Collaborate with Investor Relations and Corporate Communications to ensure accurate, compelling external messaging.
  • Lead continuous collection, synthesis, and communication of competitive intelligence for each program. Monitor and communicate critical market events, ensuring timely strategic alignment within program teams.
  • Coordinate primary and secondary intelligence gathering at medical congresses, earnings calls, and industry meetings. Develop pre- and post-conference summaries and insight presentations.
  • Act as a thought leader supporting both U.S. and ex-U.S. commercialization efforts, providing forecasting and insights support to future global partners.
  • Manage external vendors, consultants, and research partners as needed.

What You'll Bring

  • BA or BS required; MS or MBA preferred.
  • 12\+ years of experience in commercial planning, new product planning, or related strategic roles within biotechnology/pharmaceutical companies and consulting. Strong preference for candidates who directly led and contributed to execution of in-market commercialization of biopharmaceutical product(s).
  • Strong scientific literacy and ability to translate clinical data into commercial insights. Experience in hematology / oncology is preferred.
  • Proven track record directing and implementing market research programs for early- and late-stage assets. Hands-on experience designing and executing market research (not just managing vendors) and translating insights into actionable strategy.
  • Demonstrated expertise developing detailed financial forecasts and market opportunity assessments. Proven ability to build complex, patient-based revenue forecast models from scratch in Excel.
  • Expertise in analytics, market research methodologies, and vendor management.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to executive audiences.
  • Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves, problem-solving approach with high sense of urgency and drive for results
  • Ability to think outside of the box and challenge the status quo
  • Natural entrepreneurial spirit with unrelenting dedication to delivering results
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment
  • Natural collaborator who enjoys working on a cross-functional team
