As an Application Engineer working on our growing Professional Services team, you will build and configure custom software applications in data discovery, cybersecurity, data analytics, visualization, and digital transformation. This position also supports our operations team and provides solutions for our internal and external customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follows all quality procedures and objectives related to position.
  • Provides technical leadership and guidance to Junior Application Engineers.
  • Designs, develops, configures, implements, and supports solutions.
  • Formulates, executes, advises on, and explains recommendations or solutions to modify standard practices, processes, and techniques; resolves a wide variety of complex problems.
  • Solve challenging systems engineering problems with unprecedented speed and scale utilizing innovative solutions.
  • Translate conceptual designs into technical specifications, participate in the evaluation of prototype system and software solutions, and integrate into the current architecture.
  • Performs analysis of customer’s technical requirements to identify functionality and validate associated application design, as well as make recommendations.
  • Educate internal and external customers on solution implementation and usage, including documentation and training.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Active DoD Security Clearance, Secret or above, preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years in-depth experience and/or training in Server Operating System design and implementation.
  • Strength and experience with the following technologies: Application Architecture Delivery, Agile Development, Scrum, SDLC, Python, PowerShell, SQL Server, .NET, C#, Docker, Git, OCR, NLP, and AI/ML Workflow Integration, DevOps, CI-CD, Process Automation
  • Should hold one or more major industry specific certifications.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of networking environments with specific areas of high-level expertise.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems.
  • Ability to respond to changing situations and to reprioritize work as required.
  • Ability to complete work within established time frames.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000\.00 per year
