Position Overview:

The Director, Product Management, is responsible for leading LSL Healthcare’s product strategy, portfolio management, and lifecycle execution. Reporting to the VP, Sales \& Marketing, this role serves as the critical bridge between market needs and operational delivery, ensuring that product offerings, custom kits, and value propositions are aligned with commercial growth objectives and margin targets.

This leader will drive product roadmap development, competitive positioning, support for pricing strategy, and cross-functional execution across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Business Operations.

Product Strategy \& Portfolio Management

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with corporate growth objectives.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle: ideation, development, launch, optimization, and sunset.
  • Identify portfolio gaps and expansion opportunities across procedural kits, OEM programs, and distribution partnerships.
  • Conduct market research, voice-of-customer analysis, and competitive intelligence.

Commercial Alignment

  • Partner with Sales leadership to define product positioning, messaging, and differentiation.
  • Support GPO and national account strategies with product value analysis and competitive comparisons.
  • Provide field training and product education to enable effective selling.
  • Collaborate on pricing strategy aligned with margin objectives.

Custom Kit \& Procedural Solutions Development

  • Lead the development and optimization of custom kits for ASC, OBL, and hospital customers.
  • Standardize kit configuration processes to improve efficiency and reduce complexity.
  • Work with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure scalability and margin control.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Business Operations on SKU rationalization and portfolio optimization.
  • Align with IT and ERP teams to ensure accurate product data and system integrity.
  • Coordinate with Marketing on product launches, collateral, and promotional strategies.
  • Support Finance with margin analysis, cost-of-goods optimization, and performance reporting.

Performance \& Analytics

  • Track product-level revenue, gross margin, and contribution performance.
  • Develop KPIs and reporting dashboards to evaluate portfolio effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product profitability and competitiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced business/technical degree preferred.
  • 8-12\+ years of experience in product management within healthcare, medical devices, or distribution.
  • Strong understanding of procedural supply chains, custom kit development, and non-acute care markets.
  • Demonstrated success launching and managing commercially viable product portfolios.
  • Financial acumen with a strong understanding of margin management and pricing strategy.
  • Experience collaborating with sales organizations and supporting national accounts/GPO strategies.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills.

Pay range and compensation package

The anticipated salary range for this role is $155,000- $175,000

Compensation decisions are based on job-related factors including experience, education, skills, and internal equity, market considerations in compliance with applicable pay transparency laws.

This position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, prescription drug coverage, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, paid holidays and additional benefits in accordance with company policies.
