QC Microbiology Analyst (1st Shift)

Job description:

We are seeking a

QC Microbiology Analyst

to support laboratory operations through routine and advanced microbiological testing in a regulated environment. This role involves both hands-on lab work and documentation responsibilities to ensure product quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
• Conduct assays such as bioburden, endotoxin, PCR, microbial identification, and biological indicators
• Interpret and document results in compliance with SOPs and data integrity standards
• Support validation activities, investigations, and SOP revisions
• Assist with training and cross-functional laboratory support
• Maintain compliance with cGLP/cGMP and safety procedures, including aseptic gowning
• Participate in occasional weekend and holiday coverage

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related scientific field preferred
• Experience in a QC microbiology laboratory environment
• Familiarity with microbiological testing methods (bioburden, endotoxin, PCR, etc.)
• Experience working in cGLP/cGMP-regulated environments
• Strong documentation, data integrity, and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
