About the Role
The Director of Sales – Club leads national sales efforts within the Club channel (including Costco Wholesale, Sam’s Club \& BJ’s Wholesale Club) and is responsible for accelerating revenue growth, expanding distribution, increasing velocity, and delivering strong EBITDA contribution. This leader develops and manages strategic relationships with all buying teams, drives disciplined forecasting and financial accountability, and strengthens Pressed’s presence and influence across the club ecosystem.
This role is highly cross-functional and operates, in conjunction with the SVP, Sales at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Customer Activation— ensuring that business decisions are data-driven, profitable, and aligned with long-term growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-develop and execute a comprehensive club channel strategy in partnership with the SVP, Sales — focused on profitable revenue growth, distribution expansion, and sustainable velocity acceleration.
- Drive distribution expansion and velocity performance (VPO) by identifying new item rotations, and innovation opportunities informed by market trends, sales analytics, club audits and shopper insights.
- Contribute to the sales forecasting and S\&OP process to deliver accurate forward-looking visibility, strengthen inventory planning, and improve forecast accuracy across regions and items.
- Own and manage club trade accruals in partnership with Finance, ensuring disciplined investment strategies, strong ROI, and alignment with profitability targets.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day relationship leader at all club partners, ensuring ongoing alignment on rotations, promotional planning, and demand expectations.
- Represent Pressed at key customer \& industry events, as well as strategic meetings to reinforce brand presence, deepen executive-level relationships, and unlock growth opportunities.
- Monitor account performance trends and proactively identify opportunities and risks related to revenue, EBITDA contribution, distribution, and velocity — escalating insights and recommended actions to the SVP, Sales.
- Establish a culture of performance accountability — setting clear goals, measuring outcomes, and ensuring decisions are grounded in data, financial impact, and customer partnership needs.

- Maintain regular, reliable attendance and actively participate in required meetings, trainings, and company events in alignment with business needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years’ sales experience in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry – with at least 8 years directly working with club retailers, including all Costco regions across the United States.
- Proven track record of successfully partnering with club retailers and achieving sales targets in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently within Coast-to-Coast business hours (as needed)
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales data analysis and forecasting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent work experience (required); MBA (a big plus!).
- Expect to travel approximately 25%-50%.
