Parts Distributors: Inside Sales Associate

Parts Distributors, a leader in appliance and laundry parts distribution, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, providing technical parts support, driving inside sales, and ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment through shipping and receiving.

Pay Range: $21-$24/hour \+ commissions

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers via phone, email, and in person with appliance parts identification, troubleshooting, pricing, order placement, and issue resolution.
• Utilize parts catalogs, diagrams, manufacturer resources, and online lookup systems to accurately identify replacement parts.
• Process customer orders from quote through shipment, ensuring same-day shipment of all in-stock orders and proactive communication regarding backorders or shipping delays.
• Maintain accurate customer records, including contact information, order history, pricing, discounts, credit status, and account notes within the company ERP system.
• Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships through proactive follow-up, outbound sales calls, account management, and re-engagement of inactive customers.
• Identify opportunities to upsell related parts, accessories, and maintenance products while contributing to individual and team sales goals.
• Coordinate timely communication and procurement of parts distribution for internal service technicians.
• Receive, ship, and accurately maintain inventory, perform cycle counts, and support inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with purchasing to expedite special orders, evaluate shipping options, and minimize shipping costs.
• Process returns, warranty claims, vendor claims, and collections on past-due accounts while resolving customer concerns professionally.
• Support marketing initiatives, website and e-commerce updates, customer outreach campaigns, and other department projects as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting overall warehouse and parts department operations.

Qualifications

• Inside sales, or phone sales experience required.
• Appliance parts experience is a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot appliance issues and identify the correct replacement parts.
• Experience with parts lookup systems, ERP/order entry software, and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to read parts diagrams, appliance model/serial information, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with UPS and USPS shipping processes preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Schedule: On-site, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift
