Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Job Summary:

Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and medications as prescribed by physicians
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Lead and manage a team of nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects

Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Requirements:

• Current RN license in the State of New York
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
• Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and inspire team members
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
