💰 $92–$98/hr \+ per diem or relocation assistance (when applicable)

🕒 4/10 schedule (must be flexible for shift work)

COMPA Industries is seeking experienced

Quality Assurance professionals

to support major nuclear and infrastructure projects at

Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL)

.

This role plays a key part in ensuring quality and compliance on

complex, safety-critical work

in radiological and high-hazard environments. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in

inspection, welding, and NDE disciplines

.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute

quality assurance and inspection activities

on complex project scopes

• Perform

visual weld inspections (CWI)

and assist with mechanical and NDE evaluations

• Verify compliance with

quality standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with

engineering, construction, and project teams

to maintain quality performance

• Support field activities in

radiological environments

, particularly during installation phases

Required Qualifications

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) – required (no exceptions)
• Strong experience in

QA/QC, NDE, or mechanical inspection

• Background working in

nuclear, DOE, oil \& gas, or heavy industrial environments

• Ability to work

non-standard shifts

, including nights or weekends as needed

• Willingness to work in

radiological areas

with required PPE/respiratory protection

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience supporting

DOE or nuclear facilities

• Additional certifications (e.g.,

NDE methods, fire stopping, etc.

)

• Experience supporting

construction QA/QC during installation phases

Additional Requirements

• Ability to obtain a

DOE Q Clearance

(U.S. Citizenship required)

• Comfortable working onsite in a

secure, regulated environment

This is a

hands-on QA/QC inspection role

focused on field execution and NDE support—it is not a design engineering position.
