Give industrial solar projects a clear and defensible technical foundation.

We’re looking for a CTO to lead feasibility assessment, design review and engineering quality for commercial and industrial PV systems.

You will work closely with factory engineering teams to understand site infrastructure, operating requirements and installation constraints before technical solutions are finalised.

Technical responsibilities

• Validate site information, system sizing and generation assumptions.
• Review layouts, equipment specifications and electrical interfaces.
• Coordinate structural and grid-connection assessments with qualified specialists.
• Establish design-review procedures and technical procurement requirements.
• Evaluate changes proposed during procurement or installation.
• Define commissioning tests, acceptance evidence and performance monitoring.
• Develop engineers and maintain accountability for technical decisions.

Professional background

Substantial PV or electrical engineering experience, including technical leadership or design-review responsibility. You should be able to explain uncertainty, assess risk and document the reasons behind engineering choices.

A professional network of Swiss engineering consultants, qualified electrical specialists, equipment suppliers and industrial facility managers would be valuable. German and English communication skills are important.

Remuneration

Competitive fixed salary reflecting technical expertise and responsibility. A performance component may recognise engineering quality, commissioning outcomes and team development.

Housing assistance, a company vehicle and business travel support form part of the proposed package.

Your judgement should help customers and project teams understand what is technically achievable and what still needs investigation.
