Electrical Project Engineer

The role involves designing, controlling, and implementing electrical systems and products. Responsibilities include developing manufacturing processes in accordance with global engineering codes and standards, as well as managing engineering projects to ensure timely delivery. The position also requires defining customer needs and requirements, while ensuring that installations and applications meet these requirements and adhere to safety standards. Collaboration with engineers and technicians is essential for designing and applying new system processes. Additionally, the role entails performing quality and performance analysis on both new and legacy IT systems, summarizing data, and reporting test results. The position also involves assessing needs for new equipment, calculating costs, and assisting in budget preparation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop electrical engineering solutions for food and beverage processing equipment.
• Lead and coordinate electrical projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for electrical installations and upgrades.
• Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and manufacturing staff to optimize production workflows.
• Prepare project documentation, including scopes of work, technical drawings, and compliance reports.
• Manage supplier relationships and oversee procurement of electrical components and systems.
• Perform site visits to assess installation and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in project management within the retail, construction, or facility management sectors.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Excellent command of English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and expertise in AutoCAD.
