Robert Half is working with a company that is looking to hire an Email Marketing Manager:
Job Description:
Email Strategy \& Execution
- Own the strategy and execution of email marketing programs across lifecycle, promotional, and triggered communications
- Manage the end-to-end email campaign process, from intake and planning through build, QA, deployment, and post-send analysis
- Develop always-on email programs (onboarding, re-engagement, retention, and promotional) that drive engagement, conversion, and revenue
- Translate audience insights, behavioral data, and business objectives into targeted, relevant email messaging and journeys
Email Operations \& Deployment
- Manage email calendars, workflows, and timelines to ensure accurate, on-time deployment
- Build, deploy, and optimize emails within the ESP/CRM, including audience segmentation, dynamic content, and personalization
- Partner with creative, brand, and data teams to ensure assets, copy, and targeting are aligned prior to send
- Own QA processes to ensure deliverability, rendering, and data accuracy across devices and inboxes
Performance, Testing \& Optimization
- Track and report on key email performance metrics including open rate, CTR, conversion, and revenue impact
- Lead A/B and multivariate testing across subject lines, content, timing, and audience strategy
- Use performance insights to continuously refine email strategy and improve engagement and efficiency
- Partner with analytics and business teams to evaluate performance, trends, and ROI
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the primary email marketing partner to stakeholders across marketing, product, and operations
- Translate business needs into clear email briefs and executable campaign plans
- Support alignment across teams to ensure email supports broader marketing and customer experience goals
This Is What It Takes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 5–8\+ years of experience in email or lifecycle marketing, CRM, or digital marketing
- Hands-on experience building and deploying email campaigns within an ESP or CRM platform
- Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, and automated email journeys
- Data-driven mindset with experience using performance metrics to guide optimization
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally and communicating clearly with stakeholders
