Job Description

The Director of Global Engineering leads the worldwide engineering organization responsible for

new product development and sustaining engineering

across the Power \& Industrial Technologies portfolio.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Lead and develop a global, multi-site engineering team
• Drive new product development (NPD) from concept through launch
• Oversee sustaining engineering, including product improvements, cost reduction, and lifecycle management
• Align engineering priorities with business strategy, growth initiatives, and customer needs
• Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Operations, and Sales
• Improve product quality, cost, and time-to-market
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, etc.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (MBA preferred)
• 10\+ years of engineering leadership experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
• Proven experience leading global engineering teams
• Strong background in both:

+ New product development

+ Sustaining / lifecycle engineering

• Experience with Lean, continuous improvement, and structured development processes
• Strong business acumen and ability to connect engineering decisions to financial outcomes
