Role Description
The Senior Project Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for leading architectural projects from concept through completion. The role involves developing design concepts, preparing detailed drawings and documentation, and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows with the project team. The Senior Project Architect reviews and manages submittals, ensures compliance with local codes and sustainability standards. Day-to-day activities include collaborating with clients and consultants, guiding junior team members, overseeing project schedules and deliverables, and facilitating smooth communication among stakeholders to ensure high-quality, timely outcomes. The role also contributes to maintaining FIRKI Studio’s design standards and supports continuous improvement of processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Strong architectural design and technical skills, including experience in Architecture project delivery and coordination.
- Proficiency with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows for design development, documentation, and collaboration.
- Experience managing Submittals, construction documentation, and coordination with contractors and consultants.
- Demonstrated Project Management abilities, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and risk management.
- Professional degree in Architecture (B. Arch or equivalent) from an accredited institution; architectural licensure or eligibility is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a design-focused studio environment, preferably in Institutional, residential, or housing projects.
- Strong communication, presentation, and team leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior designers and collaborate effectively.
- Proficiency in relevant design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Sketchup, 3D visualization tools) and familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
