Assistant Controller
to join our corporate headquarters. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, you will serve as a vital leader in our finance department, providing the infrastructure, data integrity, and strategic oversight necessary to sustain our rapid expansion.

Your Impact \& Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership \& Team Oversight:
Directly oversee and mentor the corporate finance and accounting team, driving daily operational excellence, skill development, and strict process accountability.
- Month-End Engine Management:
Partner with the Corporate Controller to command the month-end close process across multiple practice locations, ensuring elite precision and strict adherence to corporate timelines.
- Multi-Entity Financial Transparency:
Supervise the preparation of general ledger entries, corporate bank reconciliations, tax compliance reporting, and cross-practice financial data validation.
- Strategic Scaling:
Optimize internal controls, streamline accounting workflows for newly acquired clinics, and develop budget-tracking metrics to provide senior leadership with absolute clarity on cash-flow projections and spending trends.
What We're Looking For (Required \& Preferred Qualifications):
- Professional Credentials:
Certified Public Accountant (
CPA
) designation is required.
- Industry Tenure:
10\+ years
of progressive corporate accounting experience; experience within a Dental Partnership Organization (DPO), healthcare pod, or private equity-backed multi-unit environment is highly preferred.
- The "Grit" Factor:
We are scaling rapidly, which means navigating ambiguity and volume. We need a resilient, thick-skinned leader who rolls up their sleeves to solve complex, multi-entity accounting puzzles without breaking a sweat.
- Technical Mastery:
Highly proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel architectures and cloud-based enterprise financial software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar multi-book systems).
- High EQ Communication:
An exceptional relationship builder who can translate dense financial variances into straightforward, actionable insights for clinical partners and non-accountant managers alike.
