GLOBO is seeking a tech-savvy, process-driven
People Operations Generalist
to ensure smooth, efficient, and modern HR operations. Reporting to the Director of People Operations, you will act as the primary HRIS administrator and payroll owner, while supporting employee experience, full-cycle recruiting, and compliance. This role balances day-to-day administrative execution with strategic technology optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- HRIS \& Payroll Ownership:
Act as the system admin and SME for our HRIS (Paylocity preferred). Build automated workflows, conduct data audits, and fully own end-to-end payroll processing and compliance reporting.
- Employee Experience:
Serve as the first line of contact for HR inquiries. Manage the complete employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, leaves) and assist with benefits administration and vendor management.
- Culture \& Engagement:
Support company culture by helping plan and execute engagement initiatives (e.g., GLOBO Gives Back, Wellness Month).
- Recruiting \& Tech Support:
Assist hiring managers with sourcing, scheduling, and pipeline management. Leverage and maximize modern recruiting tech (ATS, candidate CRM) and experiment with AI tools to improve HR efficiency.
- Compliance \& Ops:
Draft HR policies and SOPs, maintain absolute data confidentiality, and deliver clear internal communications across internal teams and contractors.
What You Bring
- 3–5 Years of HR Experience:
Proven background in human resources with a strong foundation in payroll and HR administration.
- HRIS \& Payroll Expertise:
Hands-on experience running payroll and managing an HRIS (Paylocity highly preferred), including building custom workflows.
- Tech-Savvy Mindset:
Highly comfortable adopting advanced recruiting technology, ATS platforms, and AI-productivity tools.
- Strong Soft Skills:
Exceptional customer service, rigorous attention to detail, and top-tier communication skills (Slack, email).
- Technical Proficiency:
Superior knowledge of
Microsoft Excel
; proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
- Education \& Certifications:
High School diploma required (Bachelor's degree preferred). HR certification (SHRM-CP/PHR) or the intention to obtain one is a plus.
