Job Description:
Teneo Hospitality Group, a global representation firm representing over 350 independent Hotels, Resorts and Destination Management Companies (DMCs), is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director, Global Sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the industry and a proven track record of managing long-standing account relationships that generate consistent and growing business volumes, along with finding and cultivating new business opportunities. This role requires extensive travel, with up to 50% of the time spent on the road.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive group business into our portfolio of member hotels, resorts, and DMCs.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities that grow Teneo market penetration.
- Build strong key client account relationships that drive business conversion with member hotels.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans.
- Collaborate with member hotels to ensure client satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, implementing appropriate strategies.
- Overcome obstacles effectively and develop solutions that drive results.
- Represent Teneo and member hotels in the marketplace at industry events.
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be based in Texas.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Global Sales or multi-property sales role in hospitality.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

- Collaborates well with team members, hotel partners and clients.
- Understands how to utilize social media platforms such as LinkedIn to prospect and enhance the Teneo brand.
