Job Description
AI \& Data Architect - Vice President (Private Equity Firm) - $200-210K Base Salary
If you spent your career in meetings and creating slide decks, this role is not for you. If you want to work for one of the world's most respected names in global private equity, keep reading.
The firm is looking for a
Modern Data Architect.
Someone who has come up through the engineering trenches, understands how things are actually built and now operates at the architectural level. The distinction between a senior data engineer and a true architect matters here.
Snowflake sits at the center of the firm's data platform, with a wider modern toolset plugging into it. Your job is to look across all of it, understand how the pieces fit together, and build a reference architecture that gives the business a unified, governed, AI-ready data foundation.
You will be working directly with commercial stakeholders, holding major consulting partners accountable and partnering with vendors including Snowflake, dbt, Five Tran, Palantir and others to shape the direction of the platform.
You should have a strong point of view on
data governance, master data management (MDM)
and semantic layers - not just the technical mechanisms, but the business context behind them.
An understanding of modern architectural principles like API's, microservices and domain-driven design is expected. Experience with AI is welcome. A background in private equity, asset management, buy-side finance or professional services is preferred.
No up-to-date resume required.
This role is based four days a week in office in either Washington D.C. or Midtown, New York
