Senior Platform Engineer (Salesforce) – 100% Remote – 12-Month Contract-to-Hire

Optomi, in partnership with a Fortune 200 global hospitality company, is seeking a Senior Salesforce Platform Engineer to help support and evolve one of the largest Salesforce environments in the world. This role will focus on building secure, scalable solutions across the Salesforce platform while driving strong engineering practices, system accountability, and reliable integrations across enterprise systems.

This engineer will play a key role in designing and maintaining integrations, strengthening platform security, and developing custom Salesforce applications and user experiences. We are looking for someone who is technically strong, highly accountable, and proactive in delivering high-quality solutions on time.

Experience of the Right Candidate:

• 5\+ years of Salesforce platform engineering experience
• Strong development experience with Apex and Lightning (LWC/Aura)
• Deep understanding of Salesforce security models and best practices
• Experience designing and building REST API integrations
• Experience with Platform Events and event-driven architectures
• Experience with Service Cloud
• Active Salesforce certifications

Nice to Have:

• Experience integrating Salesforce with Apache Kafka
• Experience building custom Salesforce applications and UI components
• Experience working in large-scale Salesforce environments

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing and implementing secure, scalable Salesforce solutions across a large enterprise platform
• Building and maintaining integrations using REST APIs and event-driven architecture
• Leveraging Salesforce Platform Events to support scalable system communication
• Developing custom Salesforce applications and user interfaces
• Ensuring the security and integrity of sensitive customer data across the platform
• Writing reusable and scalable scripts and tooling to monitor system health, security, and performance
• Collaborating closely with engineers, architects, and product stakeholders to deliver solutions on time
• Staying current on new Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices
