Working closely with the design team and cross-functional partners, this individual will assist in bringing trend-forward, commercially viable products to life.

- Create and maintain design files including product CADs, presentations, and technical drawings/specifications with a high level of accuracy
- Help to communicate technical product details including tolerances and manufacturing considerations
- Help manage and track sample requests, ensuring timely follow-up and organization
- Review pre-production samples alongside senior team members to ensure design intent and quality standards are met
- Collaborate with internal teams and overseas factories to support product development and resolve issues as they arise
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with manufacturing partners regarding timelines and updates
- Research industry trends, materials, and competitive products to inform design decisions
- Assist in translating trend direction into product concepts appropriate for a mass retail customer
Qualifications
- 1–4 years of relevant design experience (internships included) in product, home décor, or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or a related discipline
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office
- Experience with 3D modeling software such as Fusion 360 or SolidWorks
- Basic understanding of materials, construction, and manufacturing processes is preferred
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and interest in home décor and trend-driven design
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Receptive to feedback with a growth oriented mindset
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new tools, processes, and materials
