MeeruAI - Pleasanton, CA \| Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)

Overview:

MeeruAI is building a next-generation, multi-tenant SaaS platform that transforms financial operations using AI-powered agents. Built on a modern LangGraph-based architecture, this platform enables finance teams to automate AP, AR, forecasting, and financial analytics at enterprise scale.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced

Director of Engineering

to lead the development and launch of MeeruAI’s flagship product. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role where you’ll own architecture, execution, and team growth while working in a hybrid model (3 days onsite in Pleasanton, CA).

You will lead a distributed engineering team (15–20 engineers across the US and offshore) and partner closely with Product, Design, and Business leaders.

What you will do:

• Own the technical vision and architecture for a multi-tenant SaaS platform
• Lead, hire, and scale a distributed engineering team
• Stay hands-on with architecture, code reviews, and critical-path development
• Drive execution from MVP through enterprise scale
• Establish engineering best practices for quality, security, and delivery

What we are looking for:

• 10\+ years of engineering experience, including 5\+ years in leadership roles
• Proven success building and scaling SaaS products (0→1 and beyond)
• Strong backend experience (Python, PostgreSQL, AWS, microservices)
• Experience managing teams of 10–20\+ engineers
• Strong product mindset and ability to operate in fast-paced environments
• AI/LLM systems, fintech, or enterprise B2B SaaS experience

This role requires

on-site presence at least three (3) days per week

in our Pleasanton office.
