Job Description

Dana-co is seeking a motivated and resourceful Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an early to mid-career HR professional who is looking to expand their experience across employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.

This position offers the opportunity to step into a true generalist role with increasing responsibility over time, while partnering closely with managers and employees across the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related questions and guidance
  • Coordinate and manage onboarding and offboarding processes end-to-end
  • Support employee relations matters, including addressing concerns and partnering with managers on appropriate next steps
  • Assist with performance management processes, including reviews and follow-ups
  • Support recruiting efforts and candidate experience, as needed
  • Partner with payroll and benefits (via PEO) to help resolve employee inquiries
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support HR operations and compliance
  • Contribute to HR initiatives and process improvements

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of HR experience (internship, coordinator, or generalist experience considered)
  • Exposure to or interest in employee relations and manager support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience (e.g., PrismHR, BambooHR) is a plus
