Founding Product Manager

If you’ve been shipping product in a structured org and want real ownership - or you’re already in a startup but want a bigger product surface - this is that step.

We’re working with a Series A startup (YC \+ OpenAI backed) that has gone from $0 → $2M ARR in under a year and is now hiring their first Product Manager.

This is not a “manage the roadmap” PM role.

This is a role for someone who wants to

own product decisions end-to-end

• from identifying real workflow problems through to shipping and driving measurable business impact.

The role

You’ll work directly with the Co-Founders and a small, senior engineering team.

The focus is simple:

• Identify high-leverage problems in real user workflows
• Decide what gets built (and what doesn’t)
• Ship quickly and iterate based on real usage
• Own outcomes tied to revenue, retention, and product adoption

The core AI systems are already built.

The challenge now is applying them to real workflows where product decisions actually move the business.

What they’re looking for

• 2-5 years in product roles with

clear ownership of user-facing features

Evidence of:

• shipping product
• working closely with engineers/design
• improving real metrics (usage, retention, revenue)
• Comfortable operating in low-process, high-ambiguity environments
• Strong product judgement - able to cut through noise and focus on what matters

**What they’re

not

looking for**

• Platform / infrastructure-heavy PMs
• People primarily coordinating across teams rather than owning outcomes
• Strategy-heavy profiles without evidence of shipping

Location

New York City - on-site, 5 days/week
