Overview
:
Veronica Beard is seeking a highly organized, analytic and self-motivated Social Media Associate to lead content publishing, community management and reporting across all social channels. This role will be responsible for helping our most loyal followers feel seen, strengthening relationships with key collaborators, and expanding our reach to new audiences.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the evolving social media landscape, a proven ability to grow brand engagement, and a discerning creative eye. They thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, are social media obsessed, and have a passion for compelling, trend-forward content. This role is based in our NYC office and reports to the Senior Director of Social \& Content Strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Content Management \& Publishing:
Schedule and publish content across all social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn), including weekend posts. Coordinate with creative, copy and project management teams to collect final approved content before live date and route through the VB test account for quality checks ahead of posting. Curate an edit of IG story and TikTok content shared from brand events and activations for reposting on VB channels in real time.
- Data-Driven Strategy \& Reporting:
Analyze social media performance using platforms like Dash Hudson and Meta to identify key wins/misses and growth opportunities. Leverage analytics to inform and refine social media strategies that meet business objectives. Report on KPIs including engagement, reach, growth and conversion for biweekly social check-ins with the social team and seasonal campaign hindsight reviews with the larger marketing team.
- Community Management:
Cultivate our online community by replying to comments and DMs across social channels, collaborating with our copy team to infuse the VB voice into every interaction. Closely monitor our latest posts, tags and notifications and be proactive about encouraging conversation, collecting content for UGC roundups and flagging any notable changes in customer sentiment. Identify occasional opportunities for “outbound community management” to expand our reach and attract new audiences.
- Content Creation \& Collaborations:
Assist our Social Media Editor and creative team partners in planning and executing social media campaigns, from in-house content shoots to content creator partnerships. Work with our PR team to identify and build strong relationships with talented, up-and-coming content creators who align with the brand’s vision. Bring thoughtful ideas, compelling swipe and a collaborative energy to seasonal social brainstorms.
- Cultural Zeitgeist:
Stay in-the-know on relevant cultural and social media trends, identifying opportunities to amplify the brand’s voice in meaningful ways. Capitalize on viral moments with a sense of urgency to drive conversation and engagement.
Qualifications:
- 3\+ years of experience in social media management with a focus on driving channel growth and audience engagement and ability to translate data.
- Deep understanding of the social media landscape, with a track record of increasing engagement, reach, and brand visibility.
- Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail and solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience managing social media calendars, assisting on social shoots, and collaborating cross functionally to deliver cohesive campaigns.
- Familiarity with social media management platforms like Dash Hudson or similar tools for content planning, analytics, and performance tracking.
- Talent for identifying best-in-class creative, compelling storytelling and up-and-coming trends as points of inspiration for our own content.
- Passion for all things fashion, design and social media.
The salary for this role is up to $68,000\. The relevant salary range will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications. The salary range is just one component of our total compensation offerings, which consist of a comprehensive benefits package as well as a short-term incentive program, clothing allowance, and merchandise discounts.
