Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Database Administrator (DBA)

with strong hands-on expertise in managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise database environments. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with

IBM DB2

,

SQL Server 2016 and above

, and

Oracle 19c and above

. Exposure to

Azure SQL

will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain database environments across IBM DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle
• Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal system health
• Perform database tuning, query optimization, indexing, and troubleshooting
• Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
• Implement database security, user access controls, and compliance measures
• Support database upgrades, patches, migrations, and refresh activities
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and development teams for database-related support
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution
• Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and database standards
• Assist with cloud database initiatives, including Azure SQL, where applicable

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Strong experience with IBM DB2
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and above
• Strong proficiency with Oracle 19c and above
• Excellent knowledge of database installation, configuration, monitoring, backup/recovery, and performance tuning
• Strong experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts
• Experience with database security, patching, and upgrade processes
• Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues in production and non-production environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
