Position Summary

The HOU Operations Integration Manager is a senior, multi‑skilled operations leadership role responsible for integrating operational execution, training governance, and process safety performance across multiple production units.

The role provides qualified backup operational coverage during absences, surge demand, or abnormal operating conditions and is expected to achieve full qualification on all units within 12–18 months, in accordance with site training and qualification systems.

In addition to operational integration, this role has site‑wide accountability for Operations Training execution across all units through direct functional leadership of a dedicated Site‑Wide Operations Training Coordinator role. The Operations Integration Manager partners closely with Unit Managers, Production Engineering, Process Engineering, Turnaround, and Platform Engineering teams to ensure disciplined execution of turnarounds, PSM/HSE corrective actions, MOC/MOOC follow‑up, and audit closures across the Houston site.

This position operates within a unionized facility environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Min of 7 plus years of prior experience as a Unit Manager or Unit Supervisor, plus operational leadership experience, in a PSM‑covered chemical or petrochemical manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience working effectively in a unionized operating environment.
  • Prior experience as a Field Operator, Board Operator, or Utility Operator.
  • Demonstrated cross‑unit qualification experience.
  • Experience providing operator training, mentoring, coaching, or qualification sign‑off.
  • Turnaround planning and execution support experience.
  • Direct experience participating in and closing actions from PSM‑related activities, including audits, PHAs, MOC, and MOOC.
  • Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
