Job Description

We are seeking an Amazon Catalog \& Content Manager to operate as the owner of assigned styles across our portfolio. This role owns daily performance awareness, catalog health, deal execution readiness, pricing strategy, and long-term growth on Amazon.

This is not a data entry role. This position requires a hands-on operator who understands retail math, Seller Central mechanics, PPC alignment, and inventory strategy.

Role Overview

The Catalog Manager owns full performance accountability for assigned ASINs across sales, visibility, pricing, and operational readiness. You will be expected to know your styles cold and clearly articulate performance drivers at any time.

Core Responsibilities

Daily Performance Ownership

  • Review prior day sales by style, color, and size in Power BI
  • Monitor BSR movement and organic rank direction
  • Analyze ACOS and TACO; understand organic vs paid mix
  • Identify overperformance and underperformance with documented recommendations

Catalog \& PDP Health

  • Maintain titles, bullets, A\+ content, images, and variation structure
  • Resolve suppressions immediately
  • Validate pricing accuracy at color and size level
  • Ensure catalog aligns with approved pricing and promotional plans

Deal Execution

  • Manage Lightning Deals, Prime Exclusive Discounts, Best Deals, and other events
  • Confirm pricing, SKUs, and visibility prior to launch
  • Complete post-deal analysis documenting performance vs baseline, BSR movement, and keyword impact

Inventory \& Pricing Strategy

  • Monitor FBA inventory and Days of Inventory daily
  • Provide reorder recommendations within a 90-day planning window
  • Call inventory from AWD when needed
  • Recommend pricing adjustments based on velocity, competition, and inventory position

PPC \& Visibility Alignment

  • Partner closely with PPC team
  • Share keyword trends and ranking changes
  • Ensure product targeting coverage when competitors are priced higher
  • Validate placement through incognito searches and marketplace tools

Ongoing Ownership

  • Log all changes in Asana and track performance impact
  • Own image assets in Google Drive and Egnyte
  • Monitor reviews and escalate recurring product issues
  • Fully optimize listings prior to new launches and major events

Qualifications

  • 3–7\+ years direct Amazon Seller Central experience
  • Proven experience managing variation-heavy catalogs
  • Strong understanding of flat files and catalog troubleshooting
  • Experience analyzing ACOS, TACOs, BSR, conversion rate, and retail KPIs
  • Ability to connect pricing, inventory, PPC, and content into one operating model
  • Highly organized and documentation-driven

Success Profile

A successful Catalog Manager:

  • Anticipates issues before they surface
  • Documents decisions and explains performance drivers clearly
  • Thinks like an owner, not a task executor
  • Operates comfortably in high-volume, fast-moving environments

If you have built, managed, and scaled Amazon catalogs and want full ownership responsibility, we want to speak with you.
