Basic Functions

Individual will assemble products, test and write assembly instructions and Acceptance Tests. Troubleshooting and repair of non-compliant products. Perform Shipping and Receiving Duties.

Responsibilities:

• Electronic / mechanical assembly, disassembly, re-assembly, repair and/or inspection of electronic/electrical equipment
• Routes wires, install fans, power entry modules. printed circuit boards and power supplies into chassis
• Create documentation including: pictures, video and wiring of assemblies showing assembly process and instructions
• Cut wire and / or cable to specified lengths
• Solder wires onto PC boards and other connectors
• Crimps terminal eyelets and lugs to wire ends
• Troubleshoot inoperable units to component level
• Rework assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing
• Solder and de-solder components
• Perform Shipping and Receiving Duties
• Works efficiently for continous improvement to learn all duties in effort to support Logistics Coordinator

Skills:

• Through-hole soldering
• Solder surface mount resistors capacitors and surface mount integrated circuits
• Use a multimeter/Oscilloscope/Fiber optic tester for troubleshooting
• Read schematics and mechanical drawings
• Strong listening skills
• Capable of being given a task and finishing it in a timely fashion
• Good communication capabilities
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
