Engineering Lead

We are looking for a hands-on

Engineering Manager / Tech Lead

who is passionate about building impactful products and scaling engineering teams. This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys both writing code and guiding engineers, and who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

You will work closely with founders, product managers, and designers to shape product direction while remaining deeply involved in technical design and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and engineering excellence
• Remain hands-on with development, contributing to architecture, code reviews, and critical product features
• Drive technical decision-making and ensure the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our systems
• Partner closely with product and business stakeholders to translate ideas into high-quality products that deliver customer value
• Establish engineering best practices across software design, testing, deployment, and operational excellence
• Take ownership of project delivery, balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability
• Help recruit, develop, and retain high-performing engineering talent
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with a proven track record of building and shipping production system
• Previous experience leading engineering teams, mentoring developers, or acting as a technical lead
• Hands-on coding ability and willingness to contribute directly to the codebas
• Experience designing scalable web applications and distributed system
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environment
• High level of initiative, ownership, and accountabilit
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionall
• Passion for building products that create meaningful impact for user

Technology Stack

• TypeScript
• React
• Node.js
• Cloud-native infrastructure and modern DevOps practices
• Experience with these technologies is preferred but not required. We welcome candidates from diverse technical backgrounds who demonstrate strong engineering fundamentals, excellent coding ability, and a willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
